Police nab five robbery suspects, others, recover stolen goods in Jigawa
The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested five suspects involved in armed robbery and two others for cattle rustling, and recovering stolen goods worth millions of naira in a significant breakthroughs in its efforts to combat crime across the state. Confirming the arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer, Jigawa State Command, SP Shi’isu Adam, said in a statement on Tuesday that the command’s efforts are part of its sustained commitment to protecting lives and property of the citizens and residents in the state. He noted that the operations were carried out through community-led policing and collaboration with sister security agencies and vigilante groups.
