GUMI SAYS" TRUMP BOMBING OF TERRORISTS IS WAR AGAINST ISLAM

Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has condemned the U.S. military bombing of terrorists in Sokoto on Christmas Day, describing it as a war against Islam. In a statement in response to the U.S. military strike against terrorists on Friday, Mr Gumi said, “The attacks are symbolic of a harbinger (of a) neo-Crusade war against Islam. SOKOTO AIRSTRIKE: U.S.A APPRECIATES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR THEIR SUPPORT.

Pete Hegseth, US War Secretary, has thanked the Nigerian government for the support rendered during the decimation of terror targets on Thursday. The US had launched a major military operation  against terrorists in the North-West region. Hegseth, who met with the Nigerian delegation that visited US after President Donald Trump declared Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern, said the terrorists found out that his department “is always ready”. “The President was clear last month: the killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria (and elsewhere) must end. “The @DeptofWar is always ready, so ISIS found out tonight — on Christmas.
